GFS COVID Cases & Operation Updates
We welcome the improving trends in Missoula County’s COVID infection rates. With ongoing vigilance, we hope to see these trends sustained. We continue to appeal to our customers to help us reduce congestion and keep our store safe. Unless you require another person’s assistance to shop or have a dependent who must accompany you, please send just one shopper per household, and come prepared to shop quickly.
For any employee COVID case, we will work with MCCHD to determine the appropriate response. The additional cleaning and disinfection deemed necessary and the effect on staffing will determine the impact to our operations. We recognize our critical role as an essential business and are committed to doing all we can to minimize disruptions and remain open to safely serve our community. It is our intention to be as transparent as possible and establish an efficient and consistent means of sharing information with customers. Situations vary, and the required response to different cases will as well. You can be assured the Good Food Store will consistently do the following:
  • Swiftly identify and notify any coworker close contacts, ensure they are not in the workplace until released by Missoula City-County Health Department (MCCHD), and assist excluded employees until they can safely return to work.
  • Consult with MCCHD to determine appropriate cleaning and disinfection measures based on the specifics of each situation.
  • Send a notification to all employees about a positive case in the workplace.
  • Update information for customers on our website.
Thank you,
Good Food Store
