Oven Baked BBQ Country-Style Ribs

Too chilly for the grill? Pop these country-style ribs into the oven, and they’ll come out fork tender and delicious.

Ingredients

  • 3 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1½ teaspoons ground black pepper
  • 4 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 4 lbs. country-style pork ribs
  • 1 cup of your favorite barbecue sauce

Directions

Combine all ingredients and marinate overnight in a resealable bag.

Preheat oven to 275ºF.

In a small bowl, combine salt and black pepper. Coat the ribs all over with the spice blend and rub the ribs with Dijon mustard. 

Line two large, rimmed sheet pans with foil and arrange ribs in a single layer on the baking sheets. Cover tightly with foil and bake until tender, about 2–2½ hours.

Remove pans from oven and uncover the ribs. Carefully drain any liquid from the baking sheet.

Brush both sides of ribs with barbecue sauce.

Return to oven, uncovered, and bake until ribs are fall apart tender, about 20–30 minutes.

Serve ribs with additional barbecue sauce.

Makes 4 servings.
