Cocoa Brownies
Nothing is more comforting than brownies fresh from the oven.
Ingredients
- Butter for greasing pan
- Cocoa for dusting pan
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 4 eggs
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1 1/4 cups cocoa powder
- 1 cup roasted nuts (walnuts work well)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan with softened butter. Dust with cocoa powder.
- Combine butter, sugars, salt, vanilla, and eggs in a large bowl. Whisk until thoroughly combined.
- Sift flour and cocoa powder into mixture. Whisk until combined, then fold in roasted nuts.
- Pour into pan and bake for about 45 minutes.
